Deyan Lo
Hi! My name is Deyan. I'm a student who's studied in Film, Sound & Video in Ngee Ann Polytechnic and currently studying Computer Science in Nanyang Technological University!
I like to take photos, write stories, reviews, poetry and play games! I also really love my cat. I have a Instagram page for her too.

Here you'll find some of my works in short-content writing, directing videos, and some photography here and there.
Why?
My world has always revolved around reading storybooks, watching movies, playing computer games and meeting new people.

I believe that the world isn't exactly always black and white and that so much potential exists just by residing in the grey areas. Stories come from so many angles and I love that there's so many ways to paint one.

Being an empath, I love writing and creating stories from both firsthand and secondhand experiences and being able to translate and manifest them into something visual and tangible has always been my dream.

One of my favourite things in life is being able to encapsulate an emotion or a vision of a certain moment and bring it to life again once more through different mediums like through writing, poetry and videography.

I believe that storytelling is 50% entertainment and 50% emotion, being able to captivate an audience and also to get people to reflect on a more emotional level is what I want to be able to achieve.

More About Me
As a person who's grown up watching movies, playing games and reading books. I fell in love with the idea of making my own world and being able to bring them to life has always been my biggest dream.

I'm the kind of guy who loves minute details about certain characters or movies and easter eggs. I love thought and consideration into each aspect of a story and actively finding clues or significance in them.

I love being able to have that freedom to tell them the way I imagine, sharing my story so that everyone and anyone can take a part of it and make it their own from their different experiences in life.

The best part of storytelling is a very intimate communion that goes past our physical boundaries, it makes us laugh, it makes us cry, it makes us want to be better. Do feel free to share any stories with me and I'll do the same for you.
